The idea of creating a trendy clothing brand was inspired by a high school football game for the founder’s son. As a freshman on varsity, his son’s composure and IQ on the field impressed most parents and coaches alike. So much so that most didn’t believe he was only 14 years old. Throughout the season, he was asked repeatedly, “He’s just a freshman?” One game in particular was at the founder’s Alma mater, where several of his high school friends were present. One conversation in particular about a letterman jacket he was wearing grew a desire to create something of his own. This is when Just A Freshman was born.
